New Camera

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 29, 2007, 5:29 PM
It's been a long time!

Well, I'm taking this journal entry to share with my friends (if I have any left) that I finally plan on upgrading my camera gear. :)

I'm spying the Canon 30D and an array of L-series lenses to compliment it.

My current job has me doing a lot of photography, so I'm constantly learning new things. :)

Cheers and well wishes,

Jeff

Just something to think about. Depending on what type of things you will be photographing and what the end use is, you might want to consider the Canon 5d. It is full frame and that can result in some sharper and larger images. (Just a thought and my 2 cents)

I'd love a 5d, but it's well out of my range at the moment. :) I want to upgrade to 30D or maybe its successor because I'm discouraged that I'm using L glass now and still don't seem to get tack sharp images.

The 30d is nice also. The guy I go do alot of wildlife with shoots one. (He also has a 5d and I steal that anytime I need to do commercial work). He is real happy with his 30d, and the images are sharp. He did say the other day that he still runs do sharpening on most photos.
