Good day, photogs.

I finally broke down and bought myself a Canon 40D. It came yesterday and is absolutely beautiful! My first lens will arrive this coming week (Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L) with a small photo journey this coming weekend to test this baby out.

Krista's been having fun with her Nikon D200. Battle of the brands, I know. It's a love/hate thing.

It's been a long time!

Well, I'm taking this journal entry to share with my friends (if I have any left) that I finally plan on upgrading my camera gear.

I'm spying the Canon 30D and an array of L-series lenses to compliment it.

My current job has me doing a lot of photography, so I'm constantly learning new things.

Having this urge to come back to DA, somewhat.

I've been experimenting with a lot more portrait shots, since I have a new love in my life.

And I'll be upgrading my photo equipment again, so expect more shots when I do.

It's been a long and arduous journey, but on July 30th I will graduate from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications.

Often times I felt I wouldn't finish at all, but I stuck with it, and I'm so glad I did because I can see the end of the tunnel - life is good.

And to all out there with life-altering decisions to make - I refer you to this; my favorite professor throughout school gave me a brass bookmark which read:

"Never, never, never, never give up." - Winston Churchill.

Another year older, bleh! I will take presents in the form of long cylindrical tubes with the word 'Canon' on the sides. Thanks!
